I'm starting this post so us guys have something close to home to read about... because odds are that a good number of us are going to have our Camaros shipped out on rails together, and I'm sure they'll be delivered somewhere in the Los Angeles area!

I originally had the hockey stick stripes ordered but canceled that option in favor of getting some painted on when I get my GFX painted. I was originally told to expect the car anytime between Feb and Sept so anything before Sept is gravy to me. I went with Power Chevrolet and they have been good to me. My salesman, Joel Woolf, is very prompt in replying to my e-mails and faxing any requested information to me.

I was not planning to order it this year but I said, "Why not :P" So I when to order it on 04/28/09. I have been looking at this car since Nov of 2007, I think it to long to wait anymore to have this car. So I'm buying it NOW!

I had a great experience in ordering my camaro. Steve in Hardor Chevy in long beach was easy to work with.

I ordered back in early January (I think the third).

2SS/RS with a manual transmission on order.

As far as I know, I'm still at 1100, but my dealer told me that there are only a few more SS's in front of me, and that my order should get pulled in a few weeks. I ordered at the Costco Cars dealership, so they get a high volume.

When was the last time you talked to your dealer? Did they have a reallllly low number of allocations or something?

You ordered a month before me... I guess mine is built, but it's MIA.

Looks like there are going to be a few Black SS/RS Camaros around So Cal!
