Center Exit Exhaust

Any L99 drivers have the Magnaflow center exit exhaust? I had my heart set on the Solo's with J-pipes but the center exit looks bad @ss! If you have them, how does it sound and did you tune out the AFM?

I've seen it on higher end cars a lot and the rear valance and Magnaflows have been on Phastek for awhile now. My main issue would be the sound. The valance, Magnaflows and install would cost me around $1600. I don't want to be forced into a $600 tune because it sounds crappy. Decisions Decisions

Thanks family man. I actually have it in my cart on Phastek already. I was looking to see if any L99 drivers had one installed so I could get the pros and cons of it. It looks great but I don't really want to void my warranty for it.

I was looking into it before.

As far as warranty goes, from what I've seen here, it all depends on how the dealer is. It's one of those "it shouldn't" but "might" situations.

I honestly don't think there is an aftermarket system available for the L99 that sounds good with AFM. Most either tune it out like mentioned earlier, or do a little pedaling to get the car to come out of AFM mode.

I still need to load the Center exit's on our site, but if you are interested I can get you a price and most likely save you some cash. Feel free to call, PM or email me with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

I would go with resonated. My car is a DD so I don't want it too loud. Yours looks good. Did you have it custom made?

Yes, i modified the diffuser my self, and i had my local muffler shop do the exhaust for me, i re-used the stock exhaust tips and installed a resonated xpipe instead of the H pipe, i also had a pair of resonators installed after the x pipe. But yea, its loud with LT headers
