Yes there is a big car show in Springfield.

I don't think it's invitation only. You can go online and look. There was like a $40.00 entry fee.

There is a cruise tomorrow night into downtown where the show is. It's free, and there is usually several hundred cars. It's a pretty good time. Show lasts 3 days.

I'll post some more info later. If you've never been, it's a really good show.

All I can find out is its a huge show, They have a band and I'm 2.5 hrs away from my car.

It's big. They block off a big section of downtown. There's probably a band Friday and Saturday evening. There's always lots of vendors, food and automotive.

I would probably enter, but I'm going to the NHRA races Saturday. I will probably do the cruise tomorrow night, and go check out the cars on Sunday.

I am going to skip out on springfield and hit up clinton. At least I will have a better chance there. Anyone east of clinton or mahomet area want to meet up and cruze over together on sunday to the clinton show?

Yeah, what is it like 40 minutes to me from you. Then I think around 45 min to clinton from mahomet. Kind of far... just depends on how bad you want to go to a show.

I am looking at a transfer to Illinois, where is the best place to raise a high schooler that loves marching and jazz band and bowls. Looking for activities too, give me some ideas.. Will be covering a territory, possibly on the outskirts of Chicago.
