Catch can ordered
I just ordered the elite engineering catch can, looks like a legit functioning catch can. I have about 3400 miles on my 2012 v6, you think theres a lot of build up already in the intake manifold that I have missed???, I may be paranoid, I wish I would have known about catch cans earlier!

Elite is a good catch can. Maybe Tracy (sc2150) will chime in to confirm but I believe you can use seafoam to clear out what ever might be in your intake but with so few miles I wouldn't think there is much.

When I was installing my black ice-olator I could see the oil around the gasket under the IM and I took off the plenum cover and saw oil in my IM and on my plenum cover. Unfortunatly I did not know about the catch can until I had 10k + miles on my car but I am glad i put it on now. I drained it awhile ago after having it on for about 600 miles and there was a decent amount of oil, not a lot but way more than there should of been.
