Leather seats stretching: Dealer will fix.

So I had taken in my 2010 2LT with the IOM interior for an EGR issue. However I had also mentioned that the leather seats were stretching a lot. and were pretty wrinkled. Even the passenger seat was looking bad and I rarely carry any passengers.
Seems they did think it was a problem and my car is now over at a upholstery shop where they are trying to see whats up. The Service guy said that the leather seems to be not fully stretched over the foam and they might just refit it.
After hearing a lot of back and forth in the forum about the seats and the dealer response to them seems dealers will fix it. Mine looked very bad for a car with only 10K miles on it and less than 1 year old. In my specific case I convinced them by pressing my thumb on to the leather and leaving a permanent indent in it. My leather was so loose that you can literally make out the hand print that sometimes people make when leaning over the seats with the hand on the seat from ages ago.

UPDATE:
Just picked up the car. The seats look like new. The guy said they had to take off about an inch of material to get it to for again. and they added about 1/2 inch of foam. He said the issue also seems to be the foam on the seats. They seem to also have pretty rad hand and thumb and ass prints. Adding the slightly harder foam should fix part of the issue since the softer foam is not isolated.

Heres a quick check try to feel you seat and make out if you have indents on the foam itself. (Try feeling "through" the leather. If that the case show that to the dealer. Even if they say the leather stretches the foam itself should not have indents on it.

My passenger seat had wrinkly leather in the bolster. It was replaced by my dealer.

I have wrinkled leather on the bolsters. But That doesnt bother me too much. Its the seat bottoms that just looks loose. Its looks a lot worst in person. You can clearly make out butt impressions, hand impressions and.

By any chance do you have a picture of the bolsters when you had an issue?

Haha thanks The issue i see is that this only seems to affect some camaros. I have seen other camaros slightly older than mine that have a perfect seat bottom. If the dealer fix for simply stretching the leather doesnt work its probably a problem with the leather and there fore unfixable. I might just try and acquire a complete new IOM seat from GM and put it in. Anyone know what the pat number for a IOM seat might be? (on GMpartsdirect.com)

what I see is that guys (and gals) with smaller butts seem to leave a mark (on the car of course) guys with HUGE asses seem to have better weight distribution and don't have the butt cheek impressions haha.

I don't know the part number, but they actually just replace the leather seat cover, not the whole seat.

I've never understood the cheap seats in the Camaro. I thought the 5th gen seats would be a little better (at least they have an adjustable headrest). They're not bad, but I have noticed a bit of wrinkle to the leather. 4th gen seats = deplorable.

Is putting in a well-made Recaro as OE equipment really going to increase the cost that much? Isn't there a value-add for GM down the line when people look at their cars with 50k miles and say, "wow, this is really holding up well" versus "I can't believe the leather is already worn and showing age" ...
