Talking Refreshed Engine Bay for 2008

I cleaned up the Engine Bay with the freshley painted block, the new intake & the new master cylinder in it's place and the Carb re-jeted "Leaned out because there was a ton of black smoke" coming out of my tail pipes last year (Sorry for the smoke screen to those that were behind me everytime I hit the accelerator)...but something just didn't look right to me...

...then it dawned on me that I had to polish up the Carb to make it shine along with the rest of the Chrome, Billet, Aluminum...so I started to the job of taking the top part of the engine apart again and begin polshing the Carb with "Nevr-Dull" which took me about 3 hours of elbow grease, then I was beginning to think on what would it look like if I painted the "Demon" letters in red? So I'm off to the closest Hobby-Shop for some model paint and I buy a pack with an assorment of different colors.

I liked the red color beause there is alot of red accents in the engine bay and I know that some of you would of said to paint it yellow to match the car...but the red turned out really good...I'm very impressed!

Then when that job finished...I happened to glance over to my valve covers and noticed that th Bowtie & Chevrolet was a little dull from the heat and what not...so I retouched the red "Bowtie" and painted the "Chevrolet " letters yellow...I turned out even better than the original, tomorrow I will be going back to the shop to give all the painted parts another coat and I'm going to paint the "SSBC" letters in yellow!

After I get the new rims on the car I will post up new pics and I will be doing a couple more upgrades later this year hopefully before summer...now that my friends is a secret so don't ask me!

You will either see it in person or you will see the pictures!

Excellent job. A nice clean engine bay always impresses me. That thing is beautiful.

Awesome job. I only wish I had the time, money, and a little more know-how to do a project like that. Great Car!!

(And because we've got this great new 3rd Generation section - I'm gonna slip this thread over there to take advantage of it.

Sinsiter, that's an impressive engine bay. I only wish I had the cash to supplement this "little" hobby of mine too. Great job...on all ends!

Why, thank YOU very much, sir! I appreciate the compliment. However, all you have to do is look at the ext of your 3rd Gen and see there were a LOT of hours put in. Then you go and open the hood?!?

I agree here, your 3rd gen, sir, look Immaculate compared to any other 3rd gen that i've seen restored!! I mean who can keep a 3rd gen looking that good?? YOU my friend are the only person i have seen do so thus far in my 18 years on this planet.

All mumbo jumbo and what not aside, your 3rd gen makes my early/mid 4th gen look like a crap pile lol!!

Thanks for the compliments guy's, you know it takes alot of patience and will power to get something done...don't get me wrong but "Yeah" money does help...quite a bit, I am not a rich guy by any means but I am doing well for myself as a D.J. I just save my dollars for the mods on my car.
I have owned this car now for 19 years and I just started to get into the Car Show scene in 2003 so i have been building this car since then.
I know that I will never sell this car because I love it too much...plus I am way beyond that point where I will never see anyone pay a good buck for it unless they come from a wealthy family and money doesn't mean much to them.
