I wonder if the coil isolator is different L to R and not the actual coil...

No sir they are the same. I would say that the girl friend measurement is a coincidence. caligrwon562 has a similar issue, but that Camaro is lower on the drivers side. Depending on the manufacturer, OE coils can vary in height by 15mm / 5/8" coil to coil and still be in spec. Body tolerance can easily account for 4 to 6mm. Differences in camber can account for similar discrepancies.

Hey pete I was able to measure this weekend but couldn't get my hands on a mm tapemeasure. I also have 18 inch wheels.

Front left: 25 3/4. Front right: 26

Rear left: 25 3/4. Rear right: 26 1/4

Its very noticable looking at the car from the rear and driving as well.

You are on 18s and our measurements are based on 20s. No problem we add 25mm to compare

left--679.05mm Right-- 685.4mm 6mm Difference +/- 3mm

RL--679.05mm RR--691.75mm 12mm Difference +/- 6mm

How many miles are on your car?
No giant sub-woofer or amps in the trunk?

The car only has 700 miles on it and no woofer. I do have a full size spare instead of that stupid sealent compressor.

The back sits relatively low in relation to the front. The 3mm side to side variation is probably well with factory tolerances. The rear overall seems to sit low, although I do not know what the total weight difference is between the space saver with compressor and the full size spare. The side to side in the rear at +/-6mm is on the high side.

Have you taken it back to the dealer?

I have taken it back to the dealer but they don't want to even look at it till I put more miles on. But I am afraid somethings wrong and the more miles I drive. The more problems I might have. Any suggestions what to really look at?

Go back to the dealer. I have never seen and doubt ANYONE has ever seen a spring get higher with use. The Dealer should check tow things.

1. Measure the ride height if they can't selectively not see the difference.
2. Measure other Camaros on the lot with similar equipment.
3. After they finally see the issue, they should go straight to the alignment machine to verify the alignment is correct.
4. If the alignment is correct they should measure the ride heights using the GM process (there are specific points GM uses to measure ride height i.e. points on control arms, fame datum points, etc.).
5. If your dealer does not want to assist you, your could try another dealer or escalate to Chevrolet Customer Service.

So if the alignment is off. Could that maybe be the problem. My steering wheel isn't straight either.
