V6 to V8 Driveshaft Question

I am in the middle of swapping my V6/A6 rear differential with a V8/M6 rear differential. We've been able to overcome most of the challenges in doing the swap; but, there's one thing that's still puzzling us.

In order to get the correct driveshaft length, you have to uncouple the central u-joint on the V6 driveshaft, uncouple the central u-joint on the V8 driveshaft, then mate the tranny-end of the V6 driveshaft with the diff-end of the V8 driveshaft.

How in the hell do you uncouple that center u-joint? Do you need a press? If so, what's the best way to press it out?

We did a conversion for one of the forum members but i kind of remember there was a reason we just changed the end (we cut the back of his shaft off and used our 1350 u-joint mount with billet aluminum mount)

if thats all that is needed please let me know, i have had a few people ask me about this.

Oh, it was monumentally easy once someone pointed it out (Thanks, Dal). I felt like an idiot after I just pulled the driveshaft apart with my hands.
