Trans cooler options

Im in the process of going from an M6 to an A6 and am looking for trans cooler options. Ill have a large AGP intercooler taking up alot of front area. What are you guys using? Im not against maybe a tunnel mid mount or lower front mount with a fan but i'd rather not use one if I dont have to for simplicity.

Mine is right over the crush bar in front of all my coolers:

May be an option. Biggest Trans cooler out there...

I have a Tru Cool 47391 available for sale if you're interested. Brand new, didn't fit my vert due to the "Strapping" they wrap around the car to stiffen it up.
$110 Shipped

I’m curious about this as well. I’m looking at either B&M supercoolers or TCI MaxCool. No super chargers or pro chargers. Just a cam and full intake/exhaust. Don’t mean to hijack your thread.

I have a vert and installed Tru-Cool as a stand-alone, works great and just redesigned the front braces. Mine keeps temperature control where I want it all the time 175.F, even with a whipple intercooler.

This is one of those cases were there are “no one size fits all”. Everything is about space and effiency of the system. I measured available space and then started looking; considerations were length, width, depth, area mass calculations (L+W+D), type of cooler, flow, and connections. Some coolers while bigger may not be as efficient that’s why calculating has relevance to compare. I also considered thermostatic control.

Im in the same boat. Going from M6 to 4l80 on my agp car. Just waiting to get another project car done so i can get mine out of storage and in the shop to take some measurements. The front fascia is off right now so i have access to get good measurements.

I need to know as well, I just order the kit with the big drag cooler and I don’t really want to cover it as it defeats the purpose.
