Camaro Cold Air Intakes

How's it going? I recently purchased a camaro and was wondering on which cold air intake to buy? My choices are between the airaid or the K&N. Which one is better and why?

Thanks

IMO neither.

Go with Cold Air Inductions CAI. In all of the independent testing, they have the highest gains without needing a tune and only costs $400 from CAI (vendors on this site has them for a little bit less).

Both the Airaid and K&N perform worse then CAI for the same price so to me this is a no brainer.

Agreed.

Got mine from Apex Chase here on the forum. Great customer service.

Actually, it came in second to the Halltech Yellowjacket. When you add a $75 scoop it went ahead but the Halltech wasn't tested with a scoop.

Also, the Halltech Yellowjacket is $50+ cheaper. Now that's a No brainer.

+1 for this intake. My mom has it on her 2SS/RS and I helped install it. Fit/finish is excellent, and the HP gains don't lie

It looks like to me the HP gains are identical. The CAI gained only 1 ft/lb less then the Halltech. IMO I would call these two equals with neither one a winner.

The op has a V6. Halltech to my knowledge does not make one for the V6, however CAI Inc does make one.
