2012 vert white ioi vs 2011 pace car

Need advise quickly. i just left local dealer how has 2012 white vert ls3 with inferno orange interior that he will see to me in the am for 43529.00 and as soon as i got home i get a call form another dealer that has a 2011 pace car l99 for 46590.

Problem is i thought i wanted the pace car and had pretty much given up on finding one and i thought i would have full stripes painted (or vinyl) to make it look like a pace car.

I really like the 2012 with the power passenger seats, backup cam and the hid lights but im going to end up spending about about the same on the 2012 before i am done.

Opinions please, what whould you do? And do you think the pace car will hold its value better in the long run? I need to make up my mind within a hour becease the 2012 dealer needs to trade another local dealer for the 2012tonight.

I like the 2011, the steering wheel is my main reason, but as you stated you really wanted the pace car, but thought you would never find one, so I would take it as a sign that that should be the one to buy as you actually did find it, or maybe it found you?

In the long term, the pace car will hold it's value... do you plan on keeping the car for 20+ years?

Between the 2, if I were buying the car as a DD, I'd go 2012, if it's a nice weather only car, I'd go with the pace car

I was hooked on the RY color for my camaro when it first came out, but while I was looking to buy I rarely saw any RY's, and there were other colors that I liked too. One day I was driving home and saw a RY in a local dealer showroom, but they had already closed for the night. So one sleepless night later I was there early the next morning and I am still as happy as the day I bought it.

Don't get me wrong here, all the colors of the camaro rainbow are beautiful, but in the pace car you will get noticed more. Not sure if that is a good thing or not, but I figured I toss it out there.

Thanks for the input. I have never keep a car longer than 3 yrs and really dont think i could keep this one 20 plus yrs. Im really leaning toward the 2012 due to standard vs the at in the pace car. Da@#'it, this is harder than picking between a blonde with small boobs and a brunette with big ones. lol......

Being a boob man, go for the brunette -you can always convince her to dye her hair

One positive thing about the Pace Cars - you know they are a limited edition as there are only so many made. I know my dealer had 3 - 2011's and 2 went for $10k over sticker. I certainly would not turn down a Pace Car just because it is an auto - especially since paddle shifting defeats the AFM!

Pace car.....that's what you wanted, til you thought you couldn't get one. That's what has now shown up. As others here have said...you don't pick the car, the car picks you. YOU have now been picked! Revel in it!
