I'd just keep it for a rainy day off in the dusty corner of the attic storage, out of sight out of mind.
Then if it's still there when you move, just leave it.

Thanks guys, I cut off the pipes. Threw the muffs in the corner. I will go on my way. Borla XR1 mufflers are going on in the spring. I bought the car with MBRP exhaust. Hate the glass pack sound when I let off the gas.
