Question About MPD1 Rear Spoiler (Wing)

I've been considering a new rear spoiler and this one caught my eye.
http://www.mpd1.com/content/cam_rearwing_big.html

One of the very few things I dislike about my 5th Gen Coupe, is the shark fin antenna o the roof. As I understand it, the fin is the XM radio antenna and I think it is subpar for reception. My XM cuts out a lot when going under trees, next to multi-story buildings, etc. My truck has no such issues and the XM antenna for it is just a small block about 2" x 3" x 1". Works great. Besides the fin (in my opinion) looking tacky, it sucks for XM reception.

So, my question is regarding the MPD rear spoiler: is the only difference (besides price) between the coupe spoiler and the convertible spoiler, that the antenna (XM and AM/FM included I assume) is contained in the vert spoiler?

If so, has anyone with a coupe converted to the vert spoiler antenna and if so how difficult was it? Any help/comment will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
