I don't think you can get an SRT8 Charger with AWD[/QUOTE]
I don't know either, but worst comes to worst you can mod an r/t, which has lots of potential. |

Thank you all for your great responses! And now you all know my dilemma, I love the Camaro the most, but to be practical, AWD seems to be the direction I should take... especially with these Colo winters.
As for the commute, I will be coming from the Springs into Highlands Ranch and vise versa, it's roughly a two hour commute (combined) all highway during rush hour After speaking with my buddy last night regarding the same topic, we've decided that maybe the best direction would be an older WRX, 02 (bug eye). for a commuter car. I just need to find one that has not been molested too much. This way with the Tax return, I can pay for it out right and have and semi reliable car with a good amount of get up and go. Then I will need to wait another year or so before I can pick up the Camaro... And who knows maybe the Z28 will be out, and I might just get that instead. As our home income will be higher at that point. And I will no longer need to make this long commute. (hopfully) I will just need to tell myself Just one more year, you've waited this long... what’s another year. It’s a lot to think about…. That’s for sure! I guess to hold me over I might just hit up Enterprise Rent a car, during the summer months and rent a SS for a day or two. Too bad all they have are A6’s… Again thank you all for your help Ohh and one last thing... I may still end up getting the SRT8, thinking about trading in the Patriot in on it, and giving it to my wife, as she is the one who truly needs to have the extra space... we should get about 10k for it + a little extra if I can find a good wrx for under 10k. The SRT Charger isnt available in AWD.
Considering where you live and the longish commute I would recommend the SRT8 Cherokee. The Camaro is badass, but it would suck if every time it snowed you had to question if you wanted to drive. Since long drive comfort and snow are factors..I'd go with the Cherokee, plus its kind of awesome having such a fast SUV that you can rip up the 1/4 in. |

Price/Performance/AWD - WRX. The 09+ models are fast. The only reason I gave up my 07, was due to financial reasons. Otherwise I would have kept it for the real slippery conditions.
