Looking to buy a Z-28

Looking to buy a Z/28. I have cash in hand. Was thinking about trading 16Z06 for one but I said now I want both. What is available out there? Looking to spend high 30's to low 40's. Mileage doesn't matter. Must have AC since I live in super freaking hot South Florida.

Thanks

Ronnie

Someone else on here was selling a blue one. Some GM exec had it custom painted, looked sharp.

Just for clarity. No it wasnt painted for a GM exec. Its a factory black car, and Berger Chevrolet (of the 1970s fame), took the car apart and painted it.

You track wrecked Z/28's. Do you come across any for sale that are salvageable? How do I go about finding one that I can put back together. I am a mechanic and my best friend owns a body shop.

I have a SIM (silver ice metallic) 2015 Z/28 with 4600 miles I am selling for $46k. I plan on publicly listing it over the weekend but if you are interested PM me. It's all original with factory a/c and radio option.

Nice car - fair price! Silver is the rarest of the beasts! Very few silver Z/28's were made - 15 production cars in 2014 (3.4%) and 14 CTF cars (2014). 2015 don't have final tally, but from numbers that were up (about 500 of the 1287 production cars for 2015) it was only 18 production cars or 3.6% of those tracked.

So long term SIM will definately be the lowest production color followed by AGM, Red, White and then most common is Black (50%+/-).

GL finding right car and GLWS of SIM car. Since you are both in FL, seems like the perfect fit!

I believe the count for 2015 on SIM was 50, so 79 total out of two production years and at least one of those is scratched. Z/Slash might chime in on that stat but yeah, such a great color and rare, especially when offered by an original owner IMO.

I find most of them via the IAAI and Coparts recycler sites.
