Just drove from Dallas to Houston and back. Avg 26mpg down and 28/29mpg back home. On the way home I filled up south of Houston. I still have around 150 left in the tank and have driven over 300 miles.

Thats with Ingen CAI, SOLO catback and not pushing the pedal so no significant gains after mods.

MPG NEW.txt

Here is my MPG so far about 6000 miles on the car.

22.5 by my calculation
22.4 by the on board comp

I drive mostly highway and give it gas from time to time

1 tenth of a difference between your calc, and the DIC, sounds like the DIC is really accurate, since you could attribute it to the pump not cutting off exactly the same place every time... I did the same thing and since I have had several vehicles with the MPG calculations I have found it to be really close most of the time...So I never do it manually any more...

AVG. 31.4 MPG..................Now back to my normal drive to work speed of setting the cruise for 70 and just enjoy the ride.
I'm reading 27.5 avg right now. I have not re-set it for a few weeks and did around 60% highway.

I just traveled from the east side of Michigan to the west side of the State for a graduation party. Highway all the way but the last 10 miles. Showed off my Camaro to my relatives for a few miles when I got there. Total traveled miles was 322. I set the cruise at 70 MPH for most of the time. Took 11 gallons to fill it up when I got to the same gas station near the highway where I got on at 9 hours earlier. Total mileage was 29.3 MPG.

Not too bad for a Camaro that looks this DAMN good, PERFORMS this GREAT and produces this kind of PERFORMANCE.

Way to go GM

I thought the 16 mpg I've been getting was bad. Yikes! I'd say a lot of it has to do with the high percentage of city driving. The stop and go is a gas mileage killer. I think that's my problem too.

How long since you last reset your Average MPG? What is your average MPH?

So Thursday, on a fresh tank of gas, I drove from Boston to Baltimore. I did it on only 3/4 of a tank of gas. I got 28.9 MPG on the trip. That's door to door, not just the highway part. Plus the AC was on for half the trip. And, I was going 70-80MPH most of the time, which made it more surprising. Now despite my claim of 70-80, the car claimed my average speed was only 27MPH. I cleared the MPG when I filled up the tank, did that not reset the average speed too? Or does my car use some kind of crazy math to come up with that number? I have a fastlane so I didn't have to stop at any tolls, and there was hardly any traffic at all. My math shows my average speed at 55MPH, which makes a lot more sense. When you count 70-80, a few bursts above that, plus two stops at rest stops, and a few spots of traffic.

I also normally put in regular, but I topped off my half a tank of regular with a half a tank of super before i went. So figure it was a mid-grade gas.

You have to reset the avg speed too.
