Im so done with GM. I had a 2004 express 18 passenger van with only 2 seats for a loaner now I have a 04 alero that rattles and shakes and vibrates like crazy about to fall apart loaner. Customer care pretends to care but they really dont it seems.

Thats a load of bullshit and you know it.

They are discrminating againt your car in terms of warranty coverage because its 6 cylinder and not an 8?? Come on, lets be serious.

You can rag GM all you want, its not even their transmission. The trans is a crappy Aisin unit, which is essentially Toyota, and is also used by many other Asian car manufacturers.

Lets see how many pissed of V6 Camaro owners are ignorant enough to go buy a Jap car after seeing what a piece of shit jap transmissions are

Ummm my main issue is with gm customer service not caring at all. And the fact that gm chose this transmission. And the fact I have owned many more japanese cars over american cars and guess what. The jap cars are better built last longer are nicer yo drive and just overall better cars. This is my 2nd gm car and my last gm car. I have a older version of this trans in a supra and it takes a ton of abuse. This trans was made cheaper upon a request by gm. What other reason could there be??

Well my drivetrain warranty has been voided. They say the damage is from abuse and not a failed part so they wont do any repairs under warranty. What should I do now??

Did they disassemble the transmission in order to come to this conclusion?

My clutch and flywheel. I know how to drive stick. This damage and discoloration is from the pedal sticking to the floor and allowing the clutch to slip.

Don't let the win take the car to a forensic mechanic and take them to court.. If you are in the states you have that option and I suggest you use it..

They still have the car apart. The service writers never wrote any clutch issues up on the RO so when the head guy saw the clutch he didn't know there where other issues besides 2nd gear grind. So Idk what is going in now. How could I look up TSBs for my cars clutch system??

YES!! Do this! If GM fails you. Then take it to another shop. Get a second opinion and go to court.

I have had the clutch pedal stick to the floor 16 times since I owned the car. When that happens the clutch slips and this is the result. The dealer said that the only way to cause that damage is from high rpm shifting. Do you guys think I have a chance at a lawsuit??

Only if you have someone to back you up... Like the fourteen thousand people on this thread. Pretty compelling evidence.
