bent 5th bow pics
I have owned my car, a 2011 2LT/RS vert almost 9 months, only put 3800 miles on it and have had it in the shop 5 times and it still has an issue with the window accuator that the dealer said he will document but doesnt want to replace it as all the parts are PROBABLY doing this and he wants to wait and see if a new fixed accuator comes out for these! Really??? I am also looking for pics of what I should be looking for in the bent 5th bow issue. I hear a popping noise periodically when I am lowering the top, so any pics of what a bent one looks like from the outside or how do u tell if it is bent?
Also how do I get more info on the GM buy back program as it qualifies as a lemon under Missouri law. At this point I would just exchange it for a coupe and be done with the vert all together and the roof issues and all. Your dealer is blowing smoke about the window regulators. Go see another dealer. Do a search for the broken bows. Pictures have been posted in these forums. As far as a buyback, start here.

Check out this link. Pictures of my vert in post #33. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=211054&page=2 The top sags and the rear deck seal is pulled way out of place. Classic look of a bent/broken 5th bow. If yours looks like that, get it fixed soon by a reputable dealer. Had the 5th bow on mine replaced in April, along with a new water management bag. Night and day difference in appearance. So far, so good. tracker |
