Yeah, it's roughly around 35 minutes outside of fallon and maybe 15 minutes past Sand Mountain. I haven't tried their Prime Rib, but have heard alot about it. It's still worth it, even if not for the Prime rib they do have good food. And the Shoe tree I was talking about is a tree that is filled with shoes that people have tossed up. I haven't done it myself, but the wife has.

FYI...Middlegate from Fallon is 47 miles east, the shoe tree was cut down by vandels back in Dec2010 and this week end is Dapper Dans all American Bike run in Middlegate 29-30 of June. for more info call 775-423-7134 or do a web seach. Cold Springs station,NV is about another 12 miles from Middlegate does a all you can eat fish fry the 3rd friday of each month and July 20th will be the next fish dinner.

We went by last weekend and what i saw was a tree full of shoes just outside of middlegate. I think a new one has been started again?

Your right it is a new shoe tree just not the "old" one my great aunt of 90 yrs old spent as a child living under when she was 5 running from the law with her dad for kidnapping. The stories she tells about Nevada are outstanding for the past and if any of us did the same today we all would be doing Federal time. If you all like Prime Rib that will melt in your mouth you need to check out "Squeezys Cafe" every Thursday night at the Fallon Stock yard off of Trento lane. Dinner is $11.99 with tater,vegs and salad. I send alot of Our Sailors and Marines that come here for "OPS" there as well as myself and friends. The little hiddiehole places our the best. They do an early bird special @10.99 between 3:30 to 4:30 and call 775-867-2031 for more info

Just got done with work paula still at it. getting ready for camping all next week in the serria's got to love that. Temps in the low 80's and night in the 50's and sounds of bear and fresh water streams in your ears.

Oh, and I just started ordering some stuff for the Camaro lastnight. So far I have Halo Headlights, HID kit, and Chrome/black anodized Billet Specialties Street Lites 17x9.5 and 17x11 on it's way. I still need to call and see about trying to get a whole packadged deal with ordering a bunch of suspension parts from BMR, and also need to Call VFN Hoods about a new Hood

I dunno Josh ... No one has responded to my last post asking for days/times we could have a group get together...
so I will post the items I was considering here ...
I am going to change the NNMMCC to Northern Nevada Modern Muscle Car Club and open it up to all brands of modern muscle. I am hoping to get a few more enthusiasts involved in cruises, etc......
