You might want to double check that part number and try this number: 22972088.

And this would be the most recent part number for the up to date total mechanism and top?

I'm taking mine in on Friday for some other stuff ( dash bubbling, loose gear shift knob) and will be having them look at my top, the rubbing is still there in spite of the TSB 'enhancements' done in April.

Thanks for your help man.

Cool. Sounds like the one I'm getting, sans the mechanism. I know it just came out but, did you get this one installed recently?

Have not had it installed and do not have an ETA as to when it will be delivered.

Have you checked with your dealership to see what PN they have ordered with regard to your top?

I'll take a look into that tomorrow. I have some part numbers, but they are all old numbers...those that were pulled out of circulation a few weeks back. I do know that my contact (advocate) at the dealer has not heard squat on the parts, and there's a "stack" order in for it...if I'm using the right term.

Hopefully it works man. I am optimistic, because as I've said before it's a gorgeous car. My coupe, on the other hand, is running clean and mean.

new mechanisms

My dealer told me yesterday that u can not buy the complete mechanism that it has to be bought in pieces as the 2013 top is different that the 2011-2012. He said even to put a 2013 top on, u dont replace the mechanism just buy the pieces needed to fit the new style top. Is that true or is there an ENTIRELY new mechanism out there. He said he got his info from GM technical team.

Brandon will be late for work today, last seen he was spotted swimming in the rear of his Camaro.
