Any word on the cam install
Just wondering what is going on with the cam install and how much actual power they did make on the dyno for the LLT? Also, after u drive the car for a bit, how much does it effect ur gas consumption? Slightly? Or terribly? Can u use these cams if ur thinking of going FI? Also, I know this might seem a little off topic, but how is it that we have these highly advance 3.6L v6s and are having trouble getting 500RWHP out of them and back in the 80's u could take a 3.8L Buick Grand National and get 1000 RWHP out of those v6s??? Have we severely over complicated the system???

Engines were simple and built tough back then now we have too think about how to build power without messing up systems or breaking things. Although breaking things can be fun.

depends... you wouldn't be believe how easy it is to crank more power out of the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost... basically went from 355 HP to 500 HP with a tune, a touch of methanol and a simple axle back....

Engines are more reliable today than ever. The fact they are also full of more complex technology is a result of a demand for more performance and more efficiency. The end result is that they can sometimes be more difficult to modify. Without all of this, we'd still be driving around small V8s making 200 HP.

no offense to anyone but phastek is usually way overpriced. There are insulators, CAI, exhaust, ported throttle bodies, ported intake manifolds, tunes, and forced induciton.
Really depends on what you want, pm me if you have any questions. I can give you some websites to look at for certain products. |

Question about these cams....what sort of hit is the fuel economy expected to take? And yes, if I'm looking into cams (or mods in general) mpg's shouldn't be a concern, but they are.
