Question 2014 Sirius/XM 'Travel Links' ?

Any 2014 guys have the upgraded myLink radio with apps etc.
Car comes with 12months subscription to Sirius/XM and it also has Sirius Travel Links Apps like gas station pricing, movie listings, weather forecast apps etc.
Well those apps stopped working yesterday and Sirius says the dealer needs to reactivate them and dealer is clueless of course....

Anyone else having this disconnect?

I don't have the travel apps in my Camaro but I have them in my Ford dd. (Love the weather & traffic maps).

Let me guess - have you had your car 3 months? A lot of folks had to prove that the window sticker or other advertisement stated it was free for 12 months and then get them to work with Sirius to get connected again. But I thought only the ZL1 got 12 months?? And I didn't realize the premium stuff (movies, traffic, weather, etc.) was included. When I got a few months free I still had to pay for those.

My gas prices app stopped working for 3 weeks ish, then I was driving over the weekend - radio froze up and restarted on it's own. Then all of a sudden my gas prices app was working again. Don't know how/why, but it works again.

Nope my 1LE gets 12 months and apps stopped working after 6 days - ha just got my ride last week....

If the music/news part of Sirus works a-ok but the traffic/weather portion doesn't, not sure how that's a dealership issue .

BTW - congrats on the ride!

This has been going on for awhile now. Had it happen to me with my '13.

I had the dealer get it resolved. Let them have all the hassle.

Or you can do it yourself (taken from another topic here):

This just happened to me too- but I was watching for it to happen after reading this. It happened INSTANTLY when I activated OnStar. I think OnStar's activation process causes this to stop working. And like you said, XM and GM have both told me I need to go to the dealer to get it reactivated. BS if you ask me.

Have you gotten it straightened out? I'd be interested to see what I'm gonna run into when I pick up my 1LE.

Easy. 90 days after activation, XM will stop working.

As noted, take it to your dealer or contact XM. I've seen it resolved both ways.
