So for the few of you guys that are hanging in there to the end with me on this build, I wont have much to report until Mon or Tues.

The final piece is the ATI Super Pulley/Sprag which is due to arrive at the shop on Monday. The Super Pulley supposedly works really well, especially with a manual. Anytime the crank and ProCharger rpms get out of sync the pulley goes into free spin which protects both the belt and the supercharger.

I start vacation this evening through next Friday and wont have my laptop with me so I don't know how it will go trying to post updates from a phone, but I will try. Mike promised to keep me informed as he completes the final tune and dyno's and provide more side by side comparisons between the Maggie (which was no slouch by the way) and the ProCharger set-ups.

Good info! I appreciate you asking for me!

I have heard the super pulley works good but can wear out and is expensive to fix, so I am very interested to see how it turns out for you. Hoping my 12 rib setup gets me where I need to be with my F1A

I am sure your 12 rib will do just fine. The pulley was ~ $500 so I suppose the worst case would be that it would need replacing after a few years. After all it is a mechanical piece and will eventually wear out. Like you said, guess we will see

Thanks Quick! The car is in good hands . . . The guys at G-Force Motorsports are awesome!!

We are pushing the envelope with this build but sometimes it is fun to be on the edge

If the car craters it wont be because of the tune or something not installed right, that much I know for certain.

I suppose the Camaro has undergone some radical change since I bought it through the forum from a guy in Chicago 5 years ago. Thought I would post up some original pics:

Just got back from Mississippi last night and I have several updates to report but will need to get some pics and video from G-Force Motorsports first.

We did make a gear change though. I told G-Force that I wanted a gear that will support 145 mph in 4th without tripping the rev limiter. The Strange 4.11 gear I had was actually tripping the dyno around 138 mph so I didn't have any room to spare. After some deliberation G-Force recommended a 3.70 gear based upon the speed I want and my current rear tire height.

Pumpkin pulled and hand delivered to the pros at Pyle Bros for installation of the 3.70 Strange gear http://pylebros.com/

The gear I had from Strange Engineering has been GREAT so I requested that we replace it with another Strange gear. I have been banging that 4.11 for a couple of years now and it doesn't even have a hint of any issues. Those Strange gears are awesome my friends! http://www.strangeengineering.net/
