THe RX catch can does not interfer with the Vararam intake. It did interfer with the stock intake. I have noticed a new deep growl tone to my exhaust now. But only when the car is accelerating. Rolnslo did you also experience this?

Can always put the catch can on the drivers side to take up some of the empty space. The RX unit has a bracket for that and attaches to the back most airbox mount bracket.. Thats where mine is going ( soon as I get one)

If you have a catchcan do you need the breather that comes with the Vararam kit?

Normaly the catch can is connected to the dirty side PCV on the passenger side of the car. The breather is connected to the CLEAN SIDE PCV. Either you leave there or you need a second can for the clean side. Lots of oil might come from the clean side hose and that was connected directly to the EOM system, and that oil could get into the throttle in front of the engine.

I actually did install 2 cans. On on eache side and I added a breather also, so I'm giving myself all chances not to get bad oil in the engine.

Here's my set-up, I don't have the Vararam but thats the idea.

This is oil left in the EOM tube after 1 month draining

So the breather is on the oil cap and the one in the kit is not needed if you run that setup?

I have the Mike Norris catch can as well as the Rx breather. The breather that came with the Vararam connected to the hose the went into the OEM tube and into my Airaid. As it stands now, all I did was to disconnect that hose from the Airaid intake tube and attached the Vararam breather to it. It would appear that there is now, NO possible way for oil ingestion into the Vararam though I did check my Airaid tube and there was no sign of ingestion directly from the tube. Over kill? Maybe but all bases are covered.

My exhaust note changed slightly but with the SOLO exhaust, it's always been kind of different. This version of the Vararam seems to have smoothed out the exhaust note a bit over the stock intake sound and I like it!

Had my first drive today and all I can say is WOW! This is the freaking best! I had a buddy of mine who build, races and wrenches at his shop in Carmel, IN and he took it out and was floored! He said my car definitely has some bite to it! The exhause growls now and at times under heavy rev, I can hear a little kackle which is cool! I just got done cutting my grass and going to shower and get out again this afternoon. We have rain moving in later tonight and heavy rain storms for tomorrow so Too Precious will be parked but I'm loving this for sure!
