Sad Camaro story @ Dallas Cars and Coffee 2/4/11

I missed it, but heard a c5 Camaro wrecked into a couple of Vettes as a result of the owner having a seizure. Does anyone know the lady who was driving? Is she a member here?

I hope she and her kids are ok.

I've seen pix of the Vettes but not the Camaro.

Sad Camaro story @ Dallas Cars and Coffee

A woman had an apparent seizure today at Dallas Cars and Coffee and she pushed down full throttle, ramming the Camaro into a Corvette and pushing it sideways and into a Z06. From the looks of it, the first vette is probably totaled. The Z06 had minor damage, but the proud owner was pretty shaken up. From what I was told, the woman stayed on the gas full throttle just spinning until someone reached in and shut off the Camaro. Amazingly, no one was pinned or hurt. With the number of people around, I just don’t know how everyone was missed. I parked in the very spot where the vette was hit the last month I was there, so glad I got there too late today to park there. No idea how the lady is, she was taken off in an ambulance.

My wife has Ceribal palsy and has had a seizure while driving. After that she has never driven again, she voluntarily turned in her license. This has put a extra burden on me as now I drive everywhere for everything. I am sure this will have traumatized her for the rest of her life even though she will not have remembered anything of the event.

Cars may be near and dear to our hearts but people should always come first

Wow, I hope she is OK. Cars can be replaced, people cannot.

When you consider the number of people that mill around at these events (and kids), the most important and amazing thing is that no one was hurt for sure!

Thank God no one was injured! You have to always be in alert when around running/moving vehicles because you never know what could happen!
