2011 2LT/RS vert rear window accuator issues?

I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with their window accuators? I had the passenger rear window accuator replaced as it was making a constant clicking sound when in use. 100 miles later after the new one was put in, it started doing it again. I took it back to the dealer who said, "We will document it is doing it again, but they dont want to replace it again as they think all the motors will do this." So I have a 9 month old $40K car with 3,000 miles on it and have to deal with a clicking accuator everytime i use the window. I had the car in the shop 5 times in the first 6 months of owning it, for various top issues and service bulletins! I have not owned an American made car in 10 years but loved the new Camaro, now I am wondering if I should of just got the 2011 370Z vert instead???

I don't believe it, but...

I read a nasty rumor on one of these threads that the Rain Bladder flow hits the window motor. (on the way to the floor of the backseat)
My editorial in parentheses.

Thanks to GM Chief Engineer Rube Goldberg.

I had both of mine replaced on the old car within 1500 miles. Then they worked fine. New car, 2100 miles and the motors are still quiet. Don't know what to tell you. You may have gotten a bad one out of the box though.

The plastic clips on the Beetle window regulators get brittle and break. My '99 did...and my '05 has. The windows just fall to the bottom of the doors.
VW learned nothing in six years...or refuses to stop cutting corners.

I think GM fell victim to that same 'bean-counter' mentality.

Rule #1...don't put the top down. Rule #2...don't lower the windows.
I sure hope the AC survives this Summer.

Theory...

I'm convinced we are all driving Camaro prototype vehicles.

This is all public beta-testing, designed to prepare for GM's release of the 50th Anniversary Camaro in 2017.

A "prototype" might be a significant improvement over the "headache" some people unknowingly purchased.

Check/search this forum, there has been a lot of discussions about this problem...my left rear window made noise I was told by the service dept. that the rivets at the bottom of the window were bad, and they can't fix this ONLY order a whole new window unit to replace it....of course this takes two trips to the dealership to diagnose and then repair....they WON"T order any parts without having seen that the part is needed...sounds like a lot of cars are experiencing this same problem !!

At about 16000 miles both my rear window regulators had to be replaced. That was about 6 weeks ago, so far so good.

Just so I am clear... we are talking about the small triangular windows that are behind the two larger side windows, correct? My driver's side makes a slight clicking noise when going up and down but seems to work fine. No noise from the passenger's side.

I had left rear replaced. The trim was put back wrong they forgot to reconnect the rear speaker and they bent the seat-back. Now both are making the noise again. This has been added to the list. GM won't make a profit on this ride... but I DO LOVE ME some CAMARO!!

Same fix as for the convertible top: Don't put them down.
What I'm driving is a cloth coupe.
