Dead in the water after speaker sub change
Installed a Infinity1060 sub in my 2012 SS/RS convertible, stock speaker is a dual voice coil and this one is a single dual voice coil from what I'm reading here. Red and White wire connected blue & green not. problems started 20 minutes down the road. Sub pulsating even after ign key was removed to turn off car. The stereo does not work turn on and it goes on,off ,on,off all afternoon, also no power to the remote trunk opener and when I put the top up the windows cycle up/down about an inch I tried the phone and that to cuts in and out, Disconnected the battery for about an hr and no change there. Is there a reset switch in the system somewhere or does it look like another 150mile trip to the dealer. Car runs but after leaving a stop sign the dash dings every time but no lights show up. So tell me what did I fry?

Boats,,,
Not sure how those subs in the verts are wired, but you mentioned that you used two wires only. Could it be possible that the other two wires may be shorting out and causing the problem. Hope you get your problem resolved so you can be "Haze grey and underway"!! What's a Boats doing in the middle of a desert? You stationed at NAS Fallon? |

i had problems with the trunk opener also, turned out it was a loose ground wire on the front right side of the center console
