FI fuel delivery

So lately the has been a lot of talk about fuel limitations and wahat improvements should be made ...The LFX engine shows to use the same in tank pump as an SS, the upgrade would be the ZL1 (part#19260557) and would supply more fuel to engine if needed....however it seems the HPFP is going keep fuel delivery into the engine the same.... the LF3 hpfp (part#12658270) and LF4 hpfp (part#12652441) both are uprgrades from the ATS-V 3.6TT ..... I have not been able to verify if they are interchangeable with the LFX and if so any flow numbers..... anyone have this info available?

Gretchen was able to put the LF3 pump on his car but I seem to recall there was something custom about it to make it work...

I would like to know this too. The difference in the hpfp between the lf3 and lf4. Jason's right, Gretchen made the lf3 pump work they had to change the piece that goes in against the cam I think. Its definitely doable. I need to figure out who will be doing my tuning and get with them about which I should go with. Seems the lf4 pump would be capable of more power. I really don't want to run suplumental fuel.

Yes, Aaron at GPI fitted the lash cap from a Ferrari F430 to it. I think he had to drip it a bit, but it got the plunger throw length right. That was really the only change besides tuning it. That with the ZL1 in-tank pump was good for about 650 RWHP.

seems tricky - how difficult is this to do, is there risk of lash cap falling into engine... would it be the same for lf4 pump....

Gretchen at what base or rwhp numbers will the stock lfx fuel system supply safely.. I will be using meth kit with ipf supercharger/cams setup and3.40 pulley

I snapped a couple pics of the LFX hpfp and cam follower. I have no idea what the lf3 one looks like or what the piece looks like that Aaron made for it. Id love to see the lash cap and how it goes on there.
