Do I sense a drunk post in this thread? Good times.
I like the Camaro's interior just fine, although I agree it could stand to shed a few pounds. I'm on the fence too. As I've said before, I'm with whoever can provide the most amount of fun for the most reasonable price. Last time I bought a car, that was a Mustang GT. This time, it could be a Camaro if GM doesn't botch the pricing like I'm afraid they will. However, still keeping the faith and all that good stuff. |

The GTO was called heavy. It was still much much faster than the mustang in corners and in strait lines. This car has better suspension and better proportions. I think pretty much any interior is an upgrade over the 80's escort stuff found in the current mustang.

The weight is in line with this class of car. You were vague on the interior comment, I like it....Alot. I will agree some kiss up a bit much, but we have a GM rep pretty high up the food chain who is willing to listen to any comment, even yours, and if it has merit pass it on. I hear he's a nice guy. Have you seen the new Rustang concept? Good golly miss molly, did kindergarten class design that front end?

Hate to say this, but i noticed long ago that CHEVYs was a covert Troll.
While i've pegged him as a kid, i feel that he is ignorant about a few things. IRS add weight. I and many other would perfer to have the weight of IRS in are camaros then reduced weight and a live axel like the current mustangs. The Camaro also meets the new safty standards. Look closely and you will see things such as side impact airbags. Looking at the frame of the car imagine this thing could come out merely bruised if it went though an unreinforced brink wall!! I LOVE THE WEIGHT! Why? Because it makes the car more drivable on ice and snow!!! May need a few sandbags in the trunk though. The mustang will gain weight also, it is just a matter of when. Rumors are that they will get irs eventually also. And what, saftey weight is comming to? Oh noes.. The mustang will be a lil piggy also. What's wrong with the interior? You do not like it because it seems to have more appeal and potential then the mustang's? |

I'm reporting this for a lock...if it were one of the many legitimate Mustang guys on the sight with legitimate comparisons, I'd be all about some constructive competitive discussions.
But this is trolling through and through and offers nothing. |

I don't even bother with legitimate comparisons, because there is no point, the camaro, when comparing to a mustang of the same trim, will win in terms of looks, straight line, and in the twisties.
