R2C Cold Air Intake Installed!!

Today I installed my R2C CAI, it only took about 25 minutes from start to finish. I love the sound that it has produced compared to the stock intake...it has a deeper tone and I can tell that there is more power at the throttle. The black and silver intake system matches great with the stock engine cover colors. I also pulled the #5 and #20 fuses tonight so hopefully tomorrow will be more exciting than tonight's fast ride! I will have some pics up tomorrow for everyone's viewing pleasure. Has anyone else installed a R2C CAI?

It's 10:00 here and raining outside....not enough light in the garage to have a decent picture, no worries you will have your evidence tomorrow afternoon....

R2C Installation Pics

Here are some pics after the R2C installation....the beast feels much faster after installing the CAI and having the fuses pulled overnight...I highly suggest pulling your #5 and #20 fuses with a full tank of 93 octane fuel.

Had the intake since last November. Just installed kooks headers, and a corsa catback with a dyno tune back in April.

Car was great with just the intake, but now its a beast with everything else. Don't you love that deep roar on full throttle? I don't hear it as well now that my car is loud as the devil.

Yea man its a much deeper sound once I get to 3k rpms and above....I'm going for exhaust and tune next, trying to decide what exhaust to go with. Right now I'm thinking either Magnaflow Catback or Borla S-Type or ATAK. Any input? I am going for a deep sound that won't be annoyingly loud while driving, my SS is a daily driver and I don't want to be going deaf with an extremely loud exhaust.

The RC2 Bro's put one on my rental at C5 Fest. The rental went 3 tenth's faster with it on. So it's a good one. Sounded great going down the track.

Interesting design. Wonder why they went with a cubed intake tube? Would be interested to see those results. Congrats on your purchase
