theres Holden of Australia, their take on the el camino (came up on google under El Camino anyway), the Holden Ute
http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autobl...er2_ute_13.jpg
which actually doesn't look too bad, and wouldn't be horrible if they re badged as the El camino...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Ute
It seems more like an El Camino than the SSR did anyway...

Same here. Give the Charger a run for it's money.

Pontiac G8 ST

So apparently the Ute Was re badged, (after reading a little about the Ute from wiki) as the Pontiac G8 ST (Sport Truck) - but the name is unofficial yet.
It didn't alter the look Too much (even tho I'm kinda tired of not being able to tell a Grand Prix from a GTO & from a G8 with Pontiac, at first glance anyway), but their front facia is over used =/

So, yeah...we have some info here if that's what ya'll were looking for. Do we have any info on the Nova? Nope. GM has never given us any reason to go that route. And, to answer the threads question, I'd rather see a Nova.

My first car was a Nova and I wouldn't want to see a new one. If they did build one it would be similar to the Cobalt. In the 60's cars were bigger and the Nova was considered a sub-compact.

Like it or not, the Malibu is the Chevelle and I don't see them making a 2 door version. Unfortunately they cannot bring back every car just for a few enthusiasts like us. I am just happy they are bringing back the Camaro.

Since the Malibu got upsized to where it's nearly as big as the current Impala, and assuming the Impala will get similarly upsized, Chevy needs something to slot between the Cobalt and the Malibu. A Nova might be a good car for that.
