That's exactly what I did. My replacement just didn't work...two LEDs lit...and I just got fed up with it, and popped in the original piece. I'll hold off until a tried and tested unit is released.

Nothing against Dan...he's great to work with...I just don't think the unit is there yet.

I know I'm probably going to get tons of crap for this, but I was a bit late to this thread. Where can I get the KITT lights. I want them.

I agree first ones are like dummies till they get better for advertisments for the rest, did notice the right side must be rubbing on the body removing the rubber coating showing the wires maybe thats why the lights shorted out.

Can anyone confirm that I ordered my kit from the right place? This is where I ordered from:

http://www.knightlight.co.uk/pr-camaro-2010.asp

I just wanted to make sure because when I paid with PayPal, it didn't ask me for an address or anything for shipping. Thanks

Yes you ordered from the right place.

Just a FYI so far 10 months and going strong I had my lights going at a car show this past week (Thursday-Saturday) 15 hours each day non-stop

Thanks Sean! What color is yours? I ordered from AAC and they did not match the Halos that I ordered from them. Not to mention, the install process requires modification of the mail slot. On a good note AAC did say they would refund so I am pleased with their customer service.

I also received an email from Dan saying that he will be working on my order and they are currently about 4 weeks behind. That is fine by me and would much rather have a solid product that I wait for than one that is done in a hurry and needs to be replaced several times.
