345/35-18 on 18x11 factory repoductions

There are a lot that say the will not work??? But they fit mine even with the RPM roll bar bolts pushing out on inner fender wells. Changed from the Z06 9.5 wheels and Mickey Thompson ET street 305/45-18 to these.... Hoping to pin it down? Traction has been a big problem as we add more power and run unpreped tracks.

Not to get off topic but jrmac who fabricated up your roll cage? or where did you buy it?

How far have you aired them down at the track? At what pressure do you find best results?

Looks like an RPM to me.

Rpm cage....Air down to 16psi but after 3 hot laps they were 20...lol so this week we going lower on pressure and checking more often. Was more working on timing on car...keep adding and it seems too like it.... was very hot day so intake temps were running high but did get to 30 degrees timing and know knock....with expensive race e85 fuel.

Any reason you can see why the factory 20" wheels wouldn't work with 325 or 345's?

Nope i run 315 Nitto NTO5r"s on my 20's for street use. But they are nowhere as soft as the mickeys. ON street nitto's faint black marks, Mickeys DARK (last for year) black marks.

If need be I am going to get some 17" rts welds and mickeys but would like to get some sticky true street tires in a size that might hook up on factory wheels if possible. I have an auto which helps but make over 800whp which doesn't.

I am quite aware no true street tire is going to hook up as well as 17" mickeys or similar, but if I can cut 1.6 60' I will run the times I want and still have a car I can throw in the corners.

Redlineviper.....if it helps....you shouldn't have any problem nailing 1.60's with the Nitto NT05R's on 20's. I managed 1.50's with mine. I would suspect it would be even easier if you ran the 20" Mickey's as well....
