Z06 vs GTr....WOW

Check this out ,
. I thought the Vette was toast but what an outcome. Makes me feel proud to own a GM car second one actually.

Now if the Vette had AWD it would of been a blowout

Reason I posted this though is that I heard that the vette Z06 will out run the GTr in the high end and this video run proved it. So GT-R isn't really unbeatable after all. I also saw a Porche 997 current turbo do the same thing. In that test it was noted that the GT-R only shines in the lower end but in the high end it falls short.

Was this ever really unexpected? GT-R doesn't have tons of power, nor was it build for the standing mile. It was made to shred road courses. Vette has better power-to-weight ratio at the expense of traction in all weather and off the line. So yeah if you do standing mile races a lot when it's sunny out, the vette is better.

Hmm, that would add weight and driveline drag. Not so sure. I love corvettes, and I think the GT-R isn't very good looking, but its a far more usable car IMO.

Ditto! I will own a Z06 someday. Even if it kills me.
