High flow cats Vs. No Cats

Hey guys I was looking at bolt ons and I saw that high flow cats add a good 15 horsepower. Would I be able to accomplish this by just cutting them off and replacing them with piping? Thanks guys!

I don't know if you have emissions testing in NONYA. LOL. Yes you can simply cut them off. You will need to adjust the tune to avoid cels and you will not be able to pass emissions tests. You might also smell gas fumes without the cats.

It might be raspy too, and you'd need a resonated x or something. Power, though, just removing all cats is the way to go.

I live in Florida so there are no emissions here, I have a borla axle back so I don't think there will be rasp, do you think a dyno tune would help the engine light go off, because of the o2 censors. Will cutting them off pass as high flows?

the o2 sensors can be set to not to report a cel. doesn't need to be on a dyno to do that.

Gotcha, and how bad will the gas smell be? Will it get stuck in all my cloth interior on the inside?

I wouldn't cut your stock pipes - have new ones fabbed up at an exhaust shop. It's always nice to have stock stuff just in case you decide to sell it.
