I have had my car since April and when I see a Camaro 5th Gen out on the road, I always try to pull up to them and wave with a peace sign or something, but every single time I get a look that says, " Lady you are weird." Isn't there a secret wave or something? Back in the day my dad always gave a nod to his fellow Corvette owners. Am I missing something?

I'm going to go over this one more time. See, Gen 5 guys all need to hold up all five fingers for the 5th gen, that's our secret wave. Then Gen 4 guys hold up four fingers and so forth. It only gets confusing when we get the Gen 1 guys, that can misinterpreted

My experience, if the camaro is modded then 9 out of 10 times Ill get a wave back. If its stock I almost never get a wave back. When I was in Kansas a good bit would wave back, normally the same people though. Now that Im back in Ohio I get more waves from Corvettes then I do Camaros.

I actually just went for a cruise on the 4th of July with a few buddies and their Z06 Corvettes. I noticed the same thing. Every single Vette that we passed waved, while I hardly ever even get a 2nd look if I pass a fellow Camaro. Kind of a bummer.

Maybe because its just a Camaro! Not bashing asi obviously an one but lets remember what it is. Can't compare to a Vette! Different league o start with.

I find that most people are busy playing with their cell phones or their radio and aren't paying attention. Some catch my wave others don't.

I get the same thing, camaros rarely wave yet mustangs chargers and challengers always wave or give a tap on the horn

Not even a friendly wave from a corvette around here, actually get some waves from STI's too just weird
