My dealer had a drawing for 8 guys who wanted the first one. about 20 miles north and 20 miles east, 2 dealers still have their show car. Both at msrp.

I love my 2LT/RS the v6 has enough power for me. I would only get in trouble with the v8 LoL.
My dealer had 2 LT models and 2 v8 models on the floor. I went back about 3 days later to pick up some touch up paint for road rash and one of the v8's were sold and replaced with another v6 model. So not sure how good they are selling but they are moveing and this dealer is marking up the cars. There is another local dealer that had 4 models on the lot and 2 were outside. I stopped by on a sunday and several ppl were stopping and looking but they are still there. Everyone seems to love the car. I know unemployment is up with recent lay offs in the mills. Not sure why they havent sold out.

I think it's what the dealers are ordering on them. I wish they would start on my car.

There are 6 here. Been at the dealers for a couple of weeks. All of the dealers have marked up $2000 to $7000 above MSRP.

If they aren't selling them, they are marked up over MSRP. Even then, some people are paying what the dealer wants just so they don't have to wait. Me, I won't pay that. I put in my order and will be paying MSRP when it gets here. I know of at least 2 dealers in the Houston area that are selling for $10,000 over MSRP and another one selling for $5,000 over. I'm sorry, it's not worth that much to be one of the first ones to have a new Camaro on the block.

depends on price and the economy of that area. But overall its selling well. Also alot of the orders are getting filled. And at this point the camaro is still very new. I have only seen one chevy commercial that shows the camaro for about 1/2 a second. A lot of people still dont know that the car is out there.

there was a black ss close to where i live that was on the lot for TWO hours before it was sold...

well i am not in the states but newfoundland canada and i am waiting for my
LT1 RS to come in this Friday (hopefully!!). At 300hp, I think this is plenty for what I need. Same thing up here, selling above msrp but I managed to get mine at the original msrp.

I think it is the economic conditions of your region of the good ole USA. It also would have to do with the greed of the individual money hungry dealers. In Texas Dealers want +$5000 for a Camaro SS off their lot.

Local dealer sent 3 to the tint shop,where I just got my GTI tinted on Monday

One red,one yellow and one orange...all have the window stickers on windshield......

dealer where I order has placed around 20 orders... only one maybe to V6... I think the SS numbers will be the forcast.

Downstate they are going at MSRP. Maybe Upstate NY, I hear the economy is not great up there, what do you think?

yeah heres the trick i saw a cgm camaro on the streets they dont' put anything on it the salesman gets you hyped up for it then kills you right before you want to sign saying its a 5k+ msrp. thats the only reason these are staying in the lots.

Dealer near me has had a Red 1LT/RS with a 5k markup for 2 weeks.

They also have a black 2SS/RS with a $10k markup that they have had for a few days and not sold yet.
