First runs...
I took my ZL1 to the strip this morning with 1525 miles on the engine. Everything is still as Chevy delivered with the exception of fluid change and catch can.
I was caught off gaurd on the first two passes by how quickly the power came on and bumped the rev limiter on several shifts. Third pass I started to get the hang of it and ran 12.581 @ 116.47 with 60' of 2.099. 60' says it all. Traction was a little problem and I need to get more comfortable with the car and strip. I didn't heat the tires. temp was 67 degrees with 15 MPH headwinds. My first mod will be drag radials. I love this car!

I just rolled thru 1500 this weekend. First full throttle burn was impressive. It doesn't stop pulling.
