How do I know what Camaro I have...A6?

I am reading in threads something about A6 for Camaros...what does this mean, and how do I know this information. I know I have a Camaro LT2, but nothing beyond that. Thanks, and sorry if it's a noob question.

It's a fair question. There was a time when you didn't know the answer.

No need to apologize, we were all noobs once. Some folks never made it to charm school though so welcome to C5. Don't feed the trolls and grab a cold one out of the giant fridge!

I don't know what PQ stands for. But I'm going to assume it means Perilous Quandary...

People, stop being so mean... A6 is not an obvious acronym to somebody who hasn't been a car enthusiast their whole lives.

I had no idea what LLT and LFX were for a while until I googled it, these questions are legitimate imo.

...............equiped with the feature of a Manual Mode selection, simply by pulling back all the way on the shifter, and thus inspires the cars full potential by adjusting shift points at higher rpm ranges than when left in the normal drive position. The inclusion of this feature also allows drivers the additional use of steering wheel mounted buttons aka paddle shifters to add an additional element of control and choice of precise non clutched transmission shifts.............. manually.

Have a Little Respect!

There are some fairly brutal Camaro5 members for sure...they were probably bullies during school years. Gees, we should somehow learn to be adult and show just a little respect for others....with the exception of Mustang trolls....The original poster (OP) has a nice car...congrats!

I was defending the OP.

What are you talking about?

I'll try to be helpful to the OP. Take a look at this thread here, it has a lot of helpful info into Camaro5 speak.

And PQ I took your post as defending the question not bashing it.
