I think we need to start a club of young owners within clubs

31 in a 7 days. 2nd Camaro. I would say the opposite. More younger buyers because of the affordability, especially with the non-ss. I see more kids (sorry) driving RS packaged LS's than anything else. I hope I can get to 35 without feeling like a d-bag in a Camaro.

what an Interesting thread lol... 24 yrs old, first Camaro, worked my A** off to save money for it found one I had to have! got quoted on insurance couldn't believe how cheap it was (buddy from high school sells insurance). he gave me a great deal said most agents artificially raise premiums to fill their own pockets, but that's another debate. As for the whole age thing who cares, life's to short! get out there and have fun and meet people. those guys who are 60 were once 40 not too long ago and those 40 were 20 what seems like just yesterday.

I'm 24, bought my '14 2SS 1LE on my own. Worked hard for my money and it makes me smile every time I get behind the wheel.

Okay I'll make sure to be using a tablet with my other hand.

It's a fact a lot of us with Camaro at young age are spoiled. I know I'm spoiled, but I also do not take it for granted. The true test of character is how you behave in the situation. It cuts both ways. If you bought it yourself and you judge people based on the fact their family was fortunate to buy them a nice car, I respect you as much as I respect the spoiled brat who doesn't value anything.

Am I missing something? It's a car that hertz uses for rentals and it's new or used from 21k to 39k . I feel like people are setting their bars quite low. Unless we are talking ZL1/Z-28 ownership?

I agree, I've actually been looking at corvettes again.

I was 26 when I bout my 05 corvette and joined the local club. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I was by far the youngest. They all had a good time and I enjoyed the shows, cruises, and other club functions with them.

Yea for sure. Youngest in the vette club is something to brag about. I'm right there with you. I'm thinking 1le or zl1 but when your talking 60k plus or minus on a ZL1, you're almost better off spending another 10k and moving up in the world to a '14 2LT corvette at 61K or Z51 for 69k. So I'm either 1le or vette at this point. ZL1 is priced out for me.
