problem with motor
hey everyone,
I hope I chose the proper subforum for my problem. I am repainting the bumper for my vehicle. I was really very surprised when the compressor stopped working. I checked the motor, so it looks like the problem is not resolvable because it was a cheap china made motor. If you know what motors are good, please leave your comments in the thread. I can spend up to $200 |

Who is good in technical questions? Please, say can I mount it
https://www.mrosupply.com/motors/ac-...s3ed56cfl_weg/ through a single phase? I looked through the specs but I don’t know if it works with a help of VFD.. |

No experience with paint tools here. But maybe some of the painters will chime in with their tool of choice or motor in your case.
good luck with the re-paint. |

What frame size is the bad motor? The size should be on the motor name plate? Do you have 3 phase available or do you need a single phase motor? If it is a single phase and a capacitor start, it could be just the capacitor.
