Thanks! The paint I used is GM factory Corvette ZR-1 Jetstream Blue. Brembo got it for me and painted the calipers for me as well. You can get it from any Chevrolet dealer though, not sure of the cost.

That is awesome Mike, thx a lot! Is that paint the same ceramic stuff the g2 kit is or just some high temp paint. Looks very good! I'm getting my wheels powder coated right now so I think you really just sold me on blue!

I honestly don't know. I'm not sure what the G2 kit is. I just gave Brembo the color code from GM and they got the paint and took care of the rest.

Thanks for the compliment!

I know you will NOT be disappointed if you go blue. Even if it's a different color blue than mine, I think just about any blue will look good

I'm torn between the blue and red for my CGM. Anyone have pics of a CGM w/G2 red calipers?

Ok, I have decided to paint my calipers. Now, the color. Has anyone with a Black SS with IOM stripes and/or interior painted the calipers IOM? If so, do you have pictures?

Any thoughts on this combo? I too question the 'red" by default color, even though I think it would look good, I think I'd rather contrast with the car colors. Then, Black lettering...

thanks! Merry Christmas!

I would say go with the IOM calipers, you don't want to work too many colors on the car with the red!!!

A little pop of color in the wheel wells would be awesome.

Photoshop my wheel well onto your car.

SS Mike, did you do a core exchange then with Brembo?

You can get a DIY powder coat kit, break them down and cook them in your oven (or use a heat lamp) for maybe 100-150 bucks. Should be able to do this projo in one night, then throw them back on and bleed them (or have the dealer bleed the system). Not sure if you can get Jet Stream Blue or IOM powder coat yet though. I like the idea of having Brembo supply the painted calipers though. Depending on the cost of course...quick swap sounds easier than all the pain of masking and being hunched over with a brush for hours.
