I find these threads a an interesting read. I am looking very seriously at a Camaro. I like the ZL1 for its versitility, comfort and power. But I like the Z28 because of its road racing character. I mostly do weekeknd canyon carving when I drive my "fun car". It sounds like the Z28 is a very rough daily driver, and is a car the driver has to say on top of. While the Zl1 seems like a car to be driven with one hand on trips. But the Zl1 is heavy and gets bad gas mileage. Weight is a big issue when it comes to canyon carving. But can you transport a family in a Z28 (or would you want to)?

The Z/28 is no different than the ZL1 in terms of rear seat room. They're both very tight in the back seat area. I would expect fuel economy to be similar.

Yeah

I don't know why you got the z28 before. As I said earlier the zl1 99% of what the z28 is with more bp and drivability. For me, it's just a better vehicle period. And sounds like same for you. Good luck man. Can't wait till you get the zl1!
