Talking MTI Racings new 2010 Camaro short shifter

Get ready all you 5th gen. owners. MTI Racing in Marietta, GA has developed a new shifter assembly for your new 2010 Camaro. The new shifter replaces all the rubber bushings with delrin, and a new machined billet shaft with a roller bearing. Say goodbye to that sloppy shifter feel and say hello to shifting with confident precision.

MTI Racing has developed the Corvette Six Shooter shifter and has used that knowledge to design this new shifter for the 2010 Camaro. The shifter has a slight shorter throw, around 25% shorter. It is designed to feel solid in the drivers hand when shifting gears. Not the soft spongy feeling of a stock shifter, but without the need to man handle it like a Hurst. I do not have any install pictures uploaded at this time, but will post some after the 4th of July weekend. The shifter will be available in 4-6 weeks. I now that sounds like forever but believe me it is better than the 6 months Hurst has given on their 2010 Camaro shifter. The price is still to be determined. I will post more info as soon as it becomes available. Thank you all for your interest and patience. Stay tuned

What other vehicles have you designed shifter for and are they proven like Hurst?

Would want to know the history.

Pricing?

They make sweet vette shifters. less throw, less noise, less notchinesss and all with a very stock feeling shifter (ie not super stiff and hard to find reverse like b&m's etc..)

If this one shortens the throw I'm all over it.

No install pictures uploaded yet. The shifter does not change the leather boot. The shifter is being designed to utilize the stock shift knob or a aftermarket shift knob as well.
