Help!! what is this piece??
Help me guys please! My Camaro wont start and I found these two black plugs just dangling under the hood. I am missing this silver metal piece with the bars it looks like they should be attached to! What is it called or what is the part number?? thank you Camaro family!!!

That's your ECM Module, that basically controls EVERYTHING electronic in your car. Sounds like somebody stole yours!!! Wow....amazing!! That will be a pricey replacement!!! Did you leave your doors unlocked? Just wondering how they would have got under the hood???

no car was locked, iPod and Oakleys still inside. Just tried to start it to get to work and it wouldn't start. I can't imagine it could just fall off .. I wouldn't have been able to get the car home. I guess I gotta call the tow truck :'(

That kind of thing happens all the time here in Phoenix ,they stole the computer out of a Ford Lightning right on my lot last year. Had them on video ,but cops have had no luck finding them ( 2 young Latino males ) . There are a lot of bad folks out there ,and you can count on it getting worse not better in the future.

Think people could have reached it (or unlocked the hood) from underneath the car?

I am no expert, but I have worked under my hood enough to know that there is NO WAY you can access it from under the car unless it is on a lift. Your hood has no damage? Does anything have any damage? If not, it was abducted by aliens lol

No damage at all anywhere. Aliens seems like the only real possibility. I wonder if that's covered under warranty .. Unless is fell off but the car wouldn't have been able to keep driving I don't think.
