They all have the "suede package", it's part of the 1LE.
No. NPP (DualMode) is a must in my opinion. I would pass. These things aren't rare. The one you want will pop up. |

not to sure about needing npp. I went after market and enjoyed them and recently add no weeds. yea.. little expensive but i could resell my borlas and revert to oem. yes npp is nice but the open "switch" rocks way more! gl with your choice!!

I had to have the NPP on my car when I bought it after I heard it. But now... I wish I'd saved the $$$. It sounds great, for a while. After 9 months now, I'm looking to lose it and get loud. The NPP sounds good in the car but outside it's pretty weak in my opinion. I had my wife drive past me on the highway pinned in 3rd, and it was mostly just wind noise. Problem is, the mod bug wants to do long tubes and exhaust, but it's hard to justify removing the NPP with all it's extra parts. Ya know? I just know it won't be as aggressive as I ever want it to be with the NPP from the cats back.
But that's just my .02

The sunroof would be a no go for me. I love them but their sunroof cars have the headliner 1" lower so I wouldn't be able to wear my helmut for racing.
Don't compromise and get the car you want because you will be living it with it every day.

OP, when I ordered my car as a DD, I preferred the look of the non RS, I have no issues of seeing at night. Go to the dealership and look at the differences between the two and decide what you like. This is what I look like now, next week I'm going to add the black gills. Congrats on deciding on a 1LE!

NPP was a must for me, and you can pull the F8 fuse in the trunk to open up the flaps to make it louder (free mod). NPP sounds amazing IMO after adding LT headers. You can always get an aftermarket exhaust, but getting the NPP installed from the beginning I don't feel like I'd ever need/want to change it, which means I have more money to spend on other things.... like a cam upgrade....
I agree with what was said above, if you're spending this much on a car don't compromise. For this car, I've never had an ounce of buyer's remorse. Good luck with your decision! |
