Dusting of snow, 2" of salt. Welcome to ET. I do not know what to do. The forecast changes hourly. If we are lucky, it rains a little tomorrow and washes the roads off. We can make a call Sat morning. I do have a nice cruise put together. Going to have a few photo stops as well.

I hope that it rains pretty good this evening to clear the roads up of all the salt they have put down. I will check in Sat AM and see what everyone else is doing also.

Going for a ride to Pigeon Forge today will check roads out here as well. Weather stations say cold Saturday sun early. So far no salt brine sprayed in Seymour area. Monday looks good 50's but not everyone is retired like me. Just a bad time of year to look for good weather.....I'll check back Saturday morning.

So forecast was for 20 percent chance of "flurries" last night. 30 percent chance of "flurries" later today. No accumulation expected !

So here is the City of Knoxville's response to that forecast. That white stuff you see is salt not snow. Good thing I had my Baja tires on this morning instead of the snow tires.

Can you imagine what they will do if it ever really does snow ! Dan can you find out who is in charge at the highway department and

It will be like it is around here, they won't have enough salt left to cover the roads. They over react just like calling schools off before the first snowflake falls. It's ridiculous.
