6l80e over rev 1-2 shift

How do i go about changing/ lowering my shift point/timing between 1-2 shift? while i was at the track every run bounced off the rev limiter between the 1-2 shift and im not sure if its the trans going or if its in the tune. any ideas or help where to change it?

Get a SCTx4 tuner and hit up RDP, they can tune your trans shift points

Lower your RPM and MPH in the full throttle shift speed and shift RPM tables. You want it to start early enough to where the clutches will be full and ready when you hit the desired shift RPM.

Agree with magnumforcegb on his statement and also find that mph and shift rpm sometimes are to close to each other. What your mods to car

This is a big problem with 6l80E in the camaro they uncover the filter on hard launches.

Employ one of our Calibrated Dipstick tube kits and service the trans with a highflow filter.

Ted.

Janetty Racing,
In refrence to your trans Dipstick tube, on your site it says " a must if you have your engine and trans out." So are you saying i have to take out either my motor or trans to put the tube in?

Not sure where that came from but it is a very simple install here is a video explaining it.
