2 for 2 at Car Shows This year - Best In Class - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I decided to spend Fathers Day going to my second car show of the year. I again went to have fun and really did not expect to win anything. There were 2 classes for the Charger/Challengers old and new. There were 3 classes for the Mustang and 3 classes for the Corvette. There was only 1 class for all Camaro/Firebirds and there were a lot of really nice older Camaro's, Z28's and Trans Am's there. I was at this car show last year and got nothing, this year the weather was perfect and there were a lot more cars so I went to have a good time. The guys around me wanted me to move to the other side of the park because there were so many people taking pictures of my car. I was suprised and very happy when my car won Best of the Class. So that makes 2 shows this year and 2 Trophys. The Permagrin goes on.....

Awesome! I got a first in my class (all makes & models 2000 to present) at the Ford dealership Mustang club sponsored show on Fathers day too, feels good, don't it? Way to go

Thanks John, I was planning to go to the show in Fox Lake on July 28 but now I can't go there. Fox Lake is only judging cars older than 1998 and I can't even just show my car. There is a car show in Sun Praire on June 30 and if the weather is nice we may go there. After that I may be done for the year because I am having my left knee replaced on Aug 2nd. Before the surgery I am going to try to hit the A&W in Waupun on Tuesday June 26th and the Tower Lanes in Beaver Dam on June 27th. Both of those are every other week. Would love to have you stop in and and shoot the bull again. We had a great time seeing you guys last year.

Congratulations!!!

I too spent Father's Day at a car show and took home Best Late Model 1991-Present.

Over 200 cars, but only 177 registered for voting. About ⅓ of those were late models of all kinds.
