My Challenger Spanked by a SS
Hey folks. Had the pleasure of meeting and racing with one of "your people" yesterday at BeechBend KY.
I have a 09 Challenger RT(5.7L The smaller motor) with just a intake, catback, and tune. Black SS bone stock said he ran 12.6. I was like..what the.. So he lined up next to me for a run...i was on street tires, as was he. Sure enough, he backed it up again 12.6 I ate it all the way through first with something like a 2.5 60' Im a "all around" car fan, so i have no problem being whipped! Im not sure the guys name or his name on the forum (if he is on here), but it looks like he smashed some stock records! My best was 12.9 What an amazing driver dude was. Big props. Everyone there was shocked at his back to back 12.6's. Congrats stranger! |

I was there yesterday too and talked to this guy after his passes. He was deffintally all stock. Very impressive passes.
He is also already on the fastest car list and will be moving to the top once he post his slips. I will let him post his username instead of me. I'm also glad to see a guy that doesn't get all bent out of shape when he gets beat. I'm just like you, if i win that's great, but if i lose it's no big deal. I love all the new muscle cars. |

My guess is (Speedy or Nhra stocker). They've both run high 12s already (stock) and live near that area.
And 12.6 is possible with the right conditions (weather's been pretty cold in Kentucky). The biggest issue would be getting the stock tires to hook up. |

Weather was great 70 degrees, no wind, clear. The track prep was great too, they had some very fast cars there yesterday. I seen a couple 7 second 1/4 mile passes.

probably one of those guys that says his car is stock, but has tune and exhaust and tires or something like that. some peoples definition of stock is funny. some people think as long as the motor hasnt been touched, its stock

Oddly enough the Camaro SS runs a bit quicker in colder weather.
